Loaded Mashed Potatoes

Everyone should try these 1 time. They are so good I make a meal out of these.I just have a bowl full and love every spoon full.LOL Make sure you drain those potatoes that is the secret to good mashed potatoes.

5 pounds potatoes peeled and cubed
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons butter
salt and pepper to taste
3 cups(12 oz) shredded cheddar cheese(divided)
1/2 pound bacon cooked and crumbled
3 green onions sliced(I do not put onions in mine)
Place potatoes in a pan and cover with water, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover and simmer until tender. Drain and place in mixing bowl. Add sour cream, milk, butter, salt and pepper. Beat on medium- low speed until light and fluffy. Stir in 2 cups cheese, the bacon,and onions. Transfer to a greased 3 quart baking dish. Top with remaining cheese bake uncovered at 350* for 30 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
