Hot Bacon Dressing

3 eggs
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup water
½ cup cider vinegar
½ lb bacon, cut small (I use 1 lb)
2 tablespoons flour
Beat eggs – stir in sugar, water and vinegar. Fry bacon until crisp, stir in flour, cook until bubbly. Stir in egg mixture. Cook and stir until thickened. Pour over potatoes or lettuce.

3 C flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 C sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 C milk
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 TBSP butter, melted
1 C butter softened
1 C brown sugar
2 TBSP flour
1+or- TBSP cinnamon (I love cinnamon so will probably use more next time)
2 C icing sugar*
5 TBSP milk
1 tsp vanilla (this makes more glaze than you will need)
Mix flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, milk eggs and vanilla. Once combined add melted butter and combine.
Pour batter into a greased 9x13 pan
Combine softened butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon
Drop by tablespoons evenly over batter and using a knife (I used 2), swirl the cinnamon mixture through the cake
Bake at 350 for 40 - 45 min (the recipe says 25 - 30 but it wasn't nearly done)
Whisk icing sugar, milk and vanilla til smooth and drizzle over warm cake.
Serve warm or room temperature
*aka: powdered sugar, confectioners' sugar
