Basically, one pork loin (because it is just the 2 of us I tend to get the small ones - 10-15 oz.
Mix together:
1/3 cup water
2 T brown gravy mix (I use low sodium)
2 T Onion Soup Mix
3 T soy sauce.
Mix all ingredients together.
put pork loin into crock pot
smear 1-2 T crushed garlic over pork loin,
pour the other ingredients over the pork loin
Cook on HI for 4 hours or low for 6 hours
Watch that it does not cook dry (I tend to have to add 1/4 water after 2 hours on high or 4 hours on low) My crock pot cooks almost at a boil on BOTH settings LOL!)
Anyway, it is soooo good. The gravy is just to DIE for and the loin is moist and tender.
I like this recipe because I can scale it down for smaller loin (10 oz) or scale it up for large 4 lb loin.

Slow Cooker Posole
1 tbsp. canola oil
1 (2 lbs.) boneless pork or chicken (I used pork) cut in 1-inch pieces
2 cans (15 oz. each) chicken broth
1 large can (27 oz.) white hominy, drained
1 onion, diced
1 can diced chilies
garlic
1/4 tsp. cumin
2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. water
1/4 tsp. salt
1-1/2 cups water (don't know this is written twice, but I added both)
more chopped onion (to be added when serving)
cilantro and limes (to be added when serving)
Heat the oil in a skillet, and add the pork and brown. Place the meat into the crock pot. Pour the chicken broth over. Top with hominy, onions, canned chilies, cumin, and salt, and oregano. Add the water. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.
Serve it with the cilantro sprinkled on top with limes or even lemons.
Ladies, it is so good and so easy. Hope someone enjoys it as much as we do. I'm making it again this week. DH and I just love it.

Baked Pork Loin
This is so simple and so good. You have to follow the directions exactly though. A friend didn't and hers was way overcooked. It does work.
Preheat oven to 500F.
Lay pork loin on a large sheet of aluminum foil.
Rub pork loin in olive oil. Salt and Pepper to taste. You can add 1/2 pack of Good Seasonings dry Italian mix, if you choose. We like it better with just salt & pepper. Fold foil around the pork loin to hold in the juices.
Cook for 5 min. per pound. So a 3 lb pork loin would cook for 15 minutes. Turn OFF the oven BUT DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN DOOR FOR 2 HOURS. I promise you it will be perfectly cooked every single time.
I prepare this sometimes on Sunday mornings and plan it to turn off the oven as I am walking out the door to church. The pork loin is ready when I get home. LOL!!

Spare Ribs and Sauerkraut
country-style spare ribs (the meaty ones)
can of sauerkraut
salt and pepper to taste
brown sugar
Brown ribs on all sides in frying pan ...
Meanwhile, empty can of kraut (juice and all) into baking dish ...
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and brown sugar (think original called for 1/4 c packed bs for larger pan) ...
Top with browned ribs ... cover with foil and bake in preheated 350°F oven for 1 - 1 1/4 hrs.
Family preferred this served with plain white rice - would dish out ribs and kraut onto serving platter, and save cooking juice in a gravy boat to pour over rice as gravy ...
Served with a green salad and crusty bread.
