Pork Chop Casserole

6 pork chops

2 cups rice (not minute rice)
2 bell peppers, sliced
2 medium onions, sliced
2 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
1-2 cans beef consomme
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper

Brown chops in oil. Pour rice into bottom of casserole dish. Place chops on rice. Place slices of pepper, onion and tomato on top. Mix spices in soup and pour over rice and chops. Bake at 350* for 1 hour.
