Homemade Stuffing

½ cup chopped celery
½ cup onion
½ stick margarine

Saute on low, stirring often. When onions are clear and celery is soft take off burner and set aside.

In bowl break up 2-3 cups of bread. Beat an egg and pour over the bread.

In a ½ cup of hot water add 1 chicken boullion cube and stir to melt it completely. Set this aside.

Once celery and onions are cooled, add to the bread and egg mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add chicken boullion until bread is soft, not mushy. You might not use all of the boullion. ( I mix this with my hands.)

Once it is all mixed, butter a pie pan. Pat stuffing into pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees covered with foil for 10 minutes. Then take the foil off and back another 5-10 minutes to brown.
