Pound Cake

I used 2 spoons of vanilla as I was out of almond.

3 cups sugar
1 pound margarine (I though use real butter instead)
6 eggs
3/4 cup milk
4 cup plain flour, unsifted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour and milk, 1/3 at a time and mix well after each addition. Add flavorings. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 35 minutes.

I've found in our oven it only takes 1 hour and 15 minutes so keep a check on it, as all ovens cook differently
