Potato Stuffing

Cut & peel about 4-5 potatoes & boil.
Cut & dice 2-3 onions & also peel 2-3 apples. Slice the apples thinly. Add butter to your fry pan & add both onions & apples. Stir often. Put a cover on. When the apples are nice & soft,turn heat down. I then add,pepper,poultry seasoning & summer savory adjusting for your own tastes. Then when potatoes are done,drain off liquid & mash. Add 5 or 6 slices of torn up bread-no crust. Add to potatoes & mash in. Once well mixed add the apple/onion mix & stir well. Then add more butter to your fry pan & cover. Let this all cook together stirring often. Taste it!!!!! I then take it out & then put in a casserole dish. It freezes very well & I take it out the day before & warm it.
