Potato Casserole or Funeral Potatoes

2 lb. frozen hash browns
½ c. finely chopped onion
2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 can (10¾ oz.) cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
1 t. pepper
2 c. crushed cornflakes
½ stick melted butter or margarine

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine first 6 ingredients and mix well. Place in 13” x 9” greased pan. In a separate bowl, mix the corn flakes and melted butter together. Sprinkle evenly over top of casserole. Bake for 50-60 minutes.

Yield: 12-16 servings.
