Applesauce

4 apples, peeled and chopped
1/4 c sugar
3/4 c water
1/4 t cinnamon

Put everything into a pot and bring to a boil. Turn down heat to a low boil, cover, and let cook for 15-20 minutes. Stir to break up apple chunks. Put cooked sauce into a food mill if you like it fine, otherwise, leave it chunky. This recipe doubles nicely and BTW, Macoun apples worked well too.
