WOW! And it uses a slow cooker, my favorite way to cook!!!
ReplyDeleteAny chance you cost post a pic???
ReplyDeleteOMG, that sounds good. I have never seen a desert recipe that calls for a slow cooker. Must try it.
ReplyDeleteSounds heavenly.... suppose you could use apple or cherry filling?
ReplyDeletewhat size slow cooker?
ReplyDeleteWhat?!! No picture? :(
ReplyDeleteit sounds tasty but i wonder if one could use fresh berries instead of the canned filling to save on the sugar.
ReplyDeleteWow! Sounds great! Making it this weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhere is the picture?
ReplyDeleteI will try another fruit filling; I don't like blueberries.
the only reason I could see that fresh fruit wouldn't work is that it doesn't have the liquid that is in the pie filling. I make a receipe where you put the pie filling in a 8x8 pan, put a box of cake mix over it and then add a stick of melted butter and bake. It comes out kind of like a cobbler. Without the juice from the pie filling and the butter, the cake mix would have a different texture, (it would just be dry and powdery). If you could find a way to replace the liquid it would probably work. You could also possibly use a sugar free pie filling.
ReplyDeleteSo let me get this right, no eggs, oil, or water?
